A Family Adventure Rooted in Nature
Les Animaux de l’Ouvèze is, above all, a family adventure born from a deep love for animals and the natural world. From the very beginning, we’ve been driven by the desire to live and work closely with living beings—always with respect for their fundamental needs and well-being.
Our Passion: Farming in Harmony with Nature
It’s this passion that inspired us to create our farm in Ardèche, on an exceptional 600-hectare estate. Our goal was to offer our horses, ponies, mini ponies, miniature donkeys—as well as our rare-breed sheep, goats, and alpacas—a rich, natural environment where each animal can grow freely, in harmony with nature and their fellow herd members.
Our Journey
Our commitment to animal breeding has grown steadily since the year 2000, shaped by experience, careful observation, and continuous learning. We firmly believe that breeding is not simply about reproduction—it’s a holistic approach rooted in respect, patience, and attentiveness. Each animal is unique, and our goal is to nurture its full potential and personality while ensuring its health and balance.

Our Breeds & Breeding Methods
Exceptional Horses and Animals, Raised with Care
We raise sport and leisure horses and ponies known for their balanced temperament, natural elegance, and adaptability. Our carefully raised mini ponies and miniature donkeys are ideal for families and lovers of small equines. We also breed rare sheep and goat breeds, chosen for their hardiness and outstanding qualities.
Growing Up Outdoors, in Harmony with Nature
Our breeding approach is based on careful observation and respect for natural rhythms. All our animals grow up in the open air, across diverse landscapes that support their physical and mental development. Living in herds teaches them vital social behaviors, ensuring their long-term well-being and smooth integration into new environments.
